This afternoon I am in Detroit, Michigan celebrating our successful Golf, Who Knew? Program with our partner, Matrix Human Services at the Matrix Center on the east side. The opportunity to eat well and listen to the stories of our 20 + kids is priceless. Recognizing our team led by John Moran his self-appointed assistant Cathy Clyburn our fabulous in-house photographer, Daniel Ribar, Lisa Woodcox and her team at Chandler Park Golf Course, Brandon and Mike at Belle Isle Golf and Ken Brown and Kelly Salis our Matrix staff liaisons we were able to create numerous options for our kids to make great choices.

A highlight this year came from Anijah Kenyatta. Anijah was published in the African American Golfer’s Digest on her involvement in golf. I am just going to get right to it –click on the link to read her story:  https://africanamericangolfersdigest.com/why-am-i-involved-in-golf/

This is what we work hard at every day, bringing underrepresented kids into the game of golf. To our donors and supporters Thank you. It is your financial support and gifts that enable us to continue our outreach to Anijah and others who are beginning to appreciate that golf is more than a game. Golf is a lifetime experience with unparalleled possibilities.
